Schie Speech is a Female Minority locally owned and operated Speech and Occupational Therapy practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The practice was founded in July of 2019 by owner and lead Speech Language Pathologist Leah Schie, CCC-SLP.
We are a team of highly qualified and enthusiastic speech-language pathologists, speech-language pathology assistants, occupational therapists, and occupational therapy assistants with a passion for helping those in need. We strive to provide a greater understanding and support to patients, parents, and caregivers. We work collaboratively with families to find the best solutions for their family goals.

About Schie Speech
Schie Speech is a Female Minority locally owned and operated Speech and Occupational Therapy practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The practice was founded in July of 2019 by owner and lead Speech Language Pathologist Leah Schie, CCC-SLP.
Following the birth of her first child Leah’s mission and reasoning for starting this practice was to provide quality accessible care to those in need of her services. She obtained her Master of Science in Education as well as her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from Old Dominion University. Leah has worked in clinical settings that include in-patient rehabilitation and acute care hospitals. She specializes in infant feeding, orofacial myofunctional disorders, lactation counseling, and swallowing disorders.
